Historias Lodge turned out to be a fantastic find for my solo trip. I loved the clean and basic room. it fit my budget nicely and provided exactly what I needed. Hot water with great pressure made my showers a joy after long days of exploring. Miguel, the manager, was an absolute gem. He greeted me warmly and arranged tours without any pressure to join. The location is ideal—just a short walk to local eateries and shops. However, my room, unfortunately, lacked a balcony and felt a bit dark. Noise from the nearby reception area was also noticeable at times. Overall, the charm of the lodge and the helpfulness of the staff more than made up for these minor inconveniences.

Enjoyed my stay at Historias Lodge. Spacious Deluxe Room with hot water and great pressure. Noisy at times from nearby activity.

missingWrote a review on 17 Octdated decor
The location's steep hill can pose a challenge when walking back from town, which can be a strenuous trek. Additionally, while the room was spacious, it leaned toward the dark side and felt dated, lacking the modernization you might expect. Other areas of the lodge were simple with minimal common areas or recreational options, which might disappoint those looking for more social spaces.
